The cover is undyed Belgian linen stitched over 3mm bookbinding board. Inside: 160 pages of 100gsm cream-white paper, French-sewn in sections of 16 so the binding lies flat from the first page. Blank on one side, lightly ruled on the other. A5 format, 148 × 210mm. Suitable for fountain pen ink without bleedthrough.
